#JohnMasefield John Masefield (Ledbury, Herefordshire, Inglaterra, 1878 - Berkshire, Inglaterra, 1967). Su madre murió cuando él tenía 6 años, y su padre poco después. Aficionado muy pronto a la lectura, que pudo compaginar con su estancia en diversas embarcaciones, decidió hacerse escritor.
