#RoseMacaulay #Escritoras Emilie Rose Macaulay (Rugby, Warwickshire, Inglaterra, 1881 - Londres, 1958) «Las torres de Trebisonda» / «The Towers of Trebizond» es su obra más famosa. Es su última creación encuadrada en la narrativa de ficción, y en parte es autobiográfica. Su obra recibió la influencia de los libros de Virginia Woolf, entre otros (como Aldous Huxley y George Orwell). Otros de sus libros son «Non-Combatants and Others», «Potterism», «Dangerous Ages», «What Not: A Prophetic Comedy», «The Two Blind Countries» (poesía), «The Making of a Bigot», «They Were Defeated», «The World My Wilderness»...
